What does Scientology say about Jesus?

Scientology does not teach that Jesus is God the Son, that he died for our sins, or that he rose bodily. Its path to freedom runs through auditing and training, not the cross.

Scientologists may speak respectfully of Jesus, and the Church says members can hold other beliefs. But in Scientology, salvation does not depend on Jesus at all. The New Testament says he is the eternal Word made flesh, who died for sins and rose again, and that salvation is found in no one else.
