Isn't man basically good?
We are made in God's image and deeply loved, and also sinners who need forgiveness. The Bible holds both together.
Scientology's Creed says Man is basically good. The Bible says every person has great worth because God made us in his image, and also that all have sinned. Jesus said evil comes from within, out of the heart. That is why the good news is not self-discovery but rescue.
