How do I follow Jesus?
Come to him as you are. Turn from your sin, trust that he died for you and rose, and tell God so in your own words. Then read the Gospel of John.
Salvation is not a level you reach. It is a gift you receive. Jesus said whoever comes to him he will never throw out. We will not script a prayer for you: speak to God honestly, in your own words. Then start reading John, and find a church that teaches the Bible.
