Leaving and real freedom
Real freedom: what Jesus offers
Scientology promises total freedom at the top of the Bridge. Jesus offers freedom now, as a gift: forgiveness, a new heart and eternal life.
Freedom from sin
Jesus said everyone who sins is a slave to sin, and that if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. This freedom is not earned by levels. It is received by trusting him.
31Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. 32You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” 33They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?” 34Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. 35A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. 36If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

Come as you are
You do not have to clean yourself up first. Turn to God, trust that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and tell him so in your own words.
37All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
